With Halloween season upon us, here are the top 5 sneakers to wear with your Halloween costume because even on Halloween, you have to keep the heat with you at all costs. If you’re looking forward to dressing up, these kicks are a must-have for the perfect Halloween costume.
5 – Nike Kyrie 4 Halloween
This pair dropped last year in October and retailed at $120. It came out with a black upper, black midsole, green sole, and, the most important, a dripping Nike “Swoosh.” It makes you wonder what drips harder. The Kyrie 4 Halloween? Or, Gunna and Baby?
4 – Nike Blazer Mid OFF-WHITE All Hallow’s Eve
There is no way I could’ve made this list without including the Blazer Mid All Hallow’s Eve designed by, the one and only, Virgil Abloh. The pair was part of Nike and Virgil’s successful collaboration last year and dropped alongside the Grim Reaper, which in my opinion, had less appeal and eccentricity.
3- Nike SB Dunk High Pro Unlucky
The SB Dunk High Pro Unlucky kind of reminds me of the Grim Reaper when it comes to color. However, what makes this pair way more appealing are the contrasting yellow stitch and the “13” embroidery on the side toe box referring to Friday the 13th.
2- Nike SB Dunk Low Day of the Dead
El Día de Los Muertos! Which means “The Day of the Dead” in Spanish. The Day of the Dead is a multi-day holiday celebrated throughout Mexico. Looking at the shoe, you can quickly get what it is all about. I like this pair because of the skeletons all over the black part of the orange and black upper. It gives it a custom pair feel.
1- Nike SB Dunk Low Freddy Krueger
Finally, my number one pick is SB Dunk Low Freddy Krueger, and you have probably seen Travis Scott rock this pair. This pair is the perfect pair to wear if you want to dress like Freddy Krueger this Halloween. Unfortunately, for the ones that do not own this pair, the resale price is pretty high. It will cost you a hefty price because it never officially released due to legal issues.
- Nike SB Dunk Low Night of Mischief Halloween
- Nike Cortez Day of the Dead
- Nike Air Force 1 Halloween Savage Beast
- Nike Blazer Mid OFF-WHITE Grim Reaper
As you noticed, all these sneakers are made by Nike because other brands like adidas or Jordan Brand do not have sneakers inspired by Halloween except Vans. Hopefully, in the future, adidas and the others will give us their take on Halloween with a release.
